Weekend baking 😃 After 2 weeks without an oven, I was super excited to bake again. This is my first time making a Gateau Basque — pronounced ga-toe meaning layers of cream or fruit. Yes please 😋
I was slightly impatient waiting for it to cool 😄 My kitchen smelled amazing, it looked amazing so… I sliced into it prior to completely cooling. It’s so scrumptious 💃
